Eric Sena Morttey

Eric is the Financial Inclusion Coordinator based in Papua New Guinea. He brings to the team his experience in E-Banking and Mobile payments, Agency Banking, Strategic partnerships and Community-Based Microfinance.

Prior to joining PFIP, Eric worked with Standard Chartered Bank, Guaranty Trust Bank and Fidelity Bank in Ghana. Whilst working for Fidelity Bank as Operations Manager for the Financial Inclusion Department, he managed a MicroLead project in partnership with UNCDF and Care International to link Village Savings and Loans Association (VSLA) Groups and their members to bank accounts and agents in rural communities in Ghana.

Eric holds an MBA from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology in Ghana. He is a fellow of the Coady Institute in Canada where he was awarded a certificate in Community Based Microfinance. Eric is also an alumnus of the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management in Germany where he holds a certificate in leadership.
