Liz Larson is the Pacific Financial Inclusion Programme’s (PFIP) Results Measurement Advisor. Since March 2014, Liz is responsible for the monitoring and evaluation for PFIP, spearheading a results-based management framework across all levels of the programme’s strategy and implementation.
Liz has over fourteen years of experience in international development and financial inclusion. Most recently Liz was the Asia Regional Manager of Microfinance Information Exchange (MIX), starting up the MIX office in Hyderabad, India, responsible for all regional activities and a team of analysts. Prior to working for MIX, Liz worked for Oxfam America (OA) managing the development organization’s livelihoods portfolio in East Asia, with a focus on community finance and agriculture. She also worked for Mercy Corps in Asia and America, most notably helping to start the Microfinance Innovation Center for Resources and Alternatives (MICRA) in Indonesia, a specialized microfinance consulting company.
Liz has a Master’s degree in International Studies with a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Oregon, where she also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Overseas Program Coordinator at the University of Oregon.
