Prior to joining PFIP Bram has worked in various roles on the cross-section of Financial Inclusion and Digital Financial Services (DFS), most of which for banks and microfinance institutions.
In Papua New Guinea he worked with Bank South Pacific (BSP) as their Head of E-Channels. With a strong focus on pioneering and innovation Bram has implemented a successful and award winning DFS strategy for BSP.
And more recently he worked with UNCDF’s MM4P program in Uganda as Country Technical Specialist on Digital Finance. Before this role he worked with FINCA International as Regional Delivery Channels Manager for Africa. In this position, he has worked for almost 3 years and provided hands-on guidance during development, deployment and commercialization of FINCA’s Agency Banking and Mobile Financial Services in six African countries.
Bram has a solid academic background from various European universities; a Master in Microfinance from Université Libre de Bruxelles, a Master in Management Consultancy from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a Master in Social Science from Free University Amsterdam.
